Seafarers grateful for AoS support

29th October 2015

Our Greenock & Grangemouth port chaplain Deacon Joe O'Donnell and Greenock ship visitor Michael O'Connor supported the crew of the Kommandor Calum over the last 14 weeks while their ship lay anchored.
The vessel and crew eventually sailed to Lisbon in the last couple of weeks. The crew were ever so grateful to Joe and Michael for all they'd done.
Joe says the crew are a great bunch of guys and will really miss them as they have become like a second family to him.
Joe received an email from 3rd officer Jimmy when they arrived in Lisbon. The email said, "On Behalf of all the crew here at Kommandor Calum... We Like to Thank you and Michael for all the Help for everything that you did for us the crew , Thank you for your Prayers. Regards to Michael. GOD Bless my Friend. Keep in Touch..."
